Reproductive Freedom for All launched a new digital ad in Pennsylvania, “Victory“, highlighting the anti-abortion extremism of Heidi Overton, Donald Trump’s nominee to lead the Food and Drug Administration. Overton has pushed disinformation about the safety of medication abortion and argued for remaking federal health agencies around Republicans’ anti-abortion agenda. If confirmed, she would run an agency that could entirely curb access to mifepristone—in effect pushing a backdoor abortion ban that is deeply unpopular with voters.
