"In the coming weeks, Planned Parenthood’s Manhattan health center will stop offering core reproductive health services, including abortions after 20 weeks and deep sedation for procedures like abortion or IUD insertion. The Manhattan clinic currently offers abortion through 24 weeks and is the only Planned Parenthood location in the state that does so. The group has been beset by financial challenges, and plans to close a number of New York clinics in the near future...."

"A New York facility is now in compliance with a cease-and-desist order made by the state of Arkansas regarding access to abortion pills. Attorney General Tim Griffin said Thursday that Choice Woman’s Medical Center of New York had complied with his cease-and-desist request sent in May seeking for the center to stop advertising access to abortion pills for Arkansas residents in violation of the state’s Deceptive Trade Practices Act...."

NY bill would shield abortion providers who send pills out-of-state

"The New York state legislature has passed a bill that would protect medical providers in the state who provide abortion pills to patients in states where the procedure is restricted. Under the bill, abortion providers in New York will be shielded from out-of-state attempts to pursue legal action. The bill states that officials in New York will refuse to cooperate with any outside litigation from states that have outlawed abortion. It adds that New York providers are protected as long as they're in compliance with state law...."
